Maybe he does and maybe he doesn't. But even if Haymon doesn't care about Lara, would he be willing to help out HBO by giving Golovkin a credible opponent that would raise his profile?

Point is Lara is in full control of his career, not Haymon. He finally got the Canelo fight not because Haymon did something special. Lara even once suspected that he was being thrown under the bus when he fought Angulo under very unusual restrictions, ie, small ring, weight cap, etc...

Sounds like a hell of a fight to me. It would really show what GGG is made of and capable of. If HBO rejects it, that's on them for missing out on a killer bout. If Hymen rejects it, well then that's on him as well....MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!

Are you serious? You compare ratings killer Lara to the only guys above welter capable of carrying a PPV? All of whom are/were on HBO. Sad none of these guys are willing to fight him, especially UK hero Froch with his resume, size and hometown advantage.

Where did I compare then? The whole point is that Golivkin wants a free payday from PPV stars wirhout doing **** to earn it.

Make it happen Lara, just like you finally made the ginger kid fight you. Stop being a typical Haymon guy dropping big names, then fight inferior opponents. If you want Golovkin, do something.

if you watch GGG's recent fights against guys like Adama, Murray, Monroe, and others you see a pattern. Goovkin comes to **** but if he cant get an opponent out within the first 2-3 rounds he gets tired/frustrated/careless really quick. Monroe actually threw and landed more punches than Golovkin did in that fight, many of those punches were landed in rounds 4 and 5. Lucky for Golovkin he had an opponent like Monroe that cant punch for ****. Wait till GGG finally steps it up and starts fighting the big boys with some pop in those punches.

Typical case of seeing what one wants to see rather than a reality.
