Briggs s a professional at landing himself a $ fight he shouldn't be in.
He's pulled it off like 5 times already, you cant blame him for trying one last time.
I've met him before, he's actually a really cool dude, but he's a big spender.Comment

Obviously, he has filed for bankruptcy in the past and that could explain why he lives in Florida now. He also eats enough to feed a family of four(for himself) and his PED cost could support a single person. He also has been flying out to Germany on his own dime(I think) chasing down Klitschko. None of that is cheap...Comment

I'm surprised no other HW has tried to jump in and offer Briggs a fight.
Not one of the big names obviously, but someone wanting to get their name out there.
An easy fight, and a bit of attention that stems from Briggs's actions of late.Comment

He might have been offered a crossroads fight with Tarver, or even Wilder as Wilder stated other "contenders" wanted to get paid rather than get the opportunity to make millions if they beat Wilder. Briggs can promote himself so he could fight a Fury type or a Joshua but unless the money is around 1 million he doesn't want a part of anybody with a pulse...Comment
