The usual double standards are being applied to Khan and everyone else I see.
Is is a race or religion thing ?
I mean imagine Khan had fought and stopped Frankie Gavin in 4 or just beat Peterson in a fight most think he lost. People would be saying theres no way he should fought Floyd after that. But he beats a name fighter and former world champ by UD by 6,6, and 2 rounds no less and there's no way he can fight Floyd.
Yawn....Damn Khan, have you no shame? You aint getting no mf'n mayweather fight! You still got peterson, garcia, and yes IMO, Maidana problems. GO AWAY!!!
I'm sorry, but didn't Garcia KO Amir Khan? Khan SURVIVED Maidana and Diaz, and barely escaped a loss to Chris Algeri! History lesson:
Amir Khan, still a world champion but headed for hospital, mumbled through the bruises and cuts that dressed a face rearranged only moments before by Marcos Maidana: "I proved tonight I've got a chin."
What an understatement. The 4,632 fans scattered around an arena that holds twice that number in the bowels of the Mandalay Bay last night were brought to their feet in a frenzy in round 10 as the Argentinian challenger – who came to the fight with an 87% stoppage record – belted Khan from one side of the ring to the other.
He landed blows, unanswered, that would have destroyed any other fighter of comparable size in the world, including Khan's friend and stablemate, Manny Pacquiao. Yet, drawing on his phenomenal fitness, the boy from Bolton somehow remained upright to retain his WBA light-welterweight title. The judges gave it to him over 12 rounds by margins of 114-111 twice and 113-112. Had one judge, Jerry Roth, not bizarrely awarded the final round to the champion, Khan would have won by a single point on all three cards. I had him winning 115-112.
Amir Khan survived a brutal late onslaught from Marcos Maidana to retain his WBA light-welterweight title
Amir Khan survived an early knockdown and a late onslaught to eke out an unconvincing points win over supposedly damaged goods in Julio Díaz, yet he was told within minutes of the decision that his next fight would be for a world title.
On his return to the UK after an absence of two years, the judges gave it to him 114-113, 115-113 and 115-112, but again Khan's lack of one-punch power allowed his opponent to force him into uncomfortable situations. He had the heart but not the hammer.
Khan picked up a win on Friday, outpointing Algieri in a unanimous decision. But if the goal was to look impressive—Hey, look at me Floyd!—the outcome was a defeat. Credit Algieri: Under the tutelage of John David Jackson, the brains behind Sergey Kovalev, Algieri was reinvigorated. He applied pressure. He loaded up. He stood in the pocket, took Khan’s best shot, grinned and kept on coming. The decision was fair—Khan edged Algieri in total punches (216–197) and power shots (154–145)—but far from decisive.
Amir Khan defeated Chris Algieri via unanimous decision Friday night, but did little to convince that he's worthy of a bout against Floyd Mayweather.
Do you see a pattern here?
The same Diaz who just came off a draw against Porter and many thought he won that fight. Maidana had a 90% KO to be precise, Khan's resume cannon be question or it's apparent that you just dislike Khan.
The usual double standards are being applied to Khan and everyone else I see.

Yes, there's definitely double-standards. If Khan was fighting the kinds of low-level fighters that Brook fights, or being rewarded very close decisions like Brook and Garcia, or being named as a Mayweather opponent without even moving up to welter first (like Garcia), then Khan would get completely roasted for it. His haters deliberately set the line much higher than they would for any other fighters, beyond all reason. If convincingly defeating 9 world champions, including 4 in his last 4 fights, isn't "deserving" enough, then the word "deserving" itself completely loses all meaning.
**** outta here. Who did Guerrero and Ortiz fight beside Berto and get Mayweather?
And who the hell has Garcia beat at 147? Oh wait he hasnt even fought there, yet all u guys were crying that Khan needed to fight at 147. Two impressive wins and one decent one and thats not making him worthy? Last I checked Garcia arguably lost his last fight so FOH with that worthy ****. Khan is more worthy than any 147 pounder at this point.
Why do ya'll continue to post ****** **** like this?? Khan has no title and has not done jack **** at ww..Ortiz was the WBC champ and Guerrero was the interim champion..Khan should have fought Alexander when he was champ...or should have fought Brook instead of Algeri..he brings 0 to the table

Khan struggled with Diaz, Thurman KO'd him. Khan struggled with Peterson, Danny Garcia got the win vs. Peterson, and Garcia KO'd Khan! So should Khan get the fight before Thurman or Garcia? Maybe it's just me?
