    Leo

that dude is gonna get smoked the moment he steps up against decent opposition

Danny's been protected but has at least been in there with live, dangerous bodies

hell, even Gary Russel's been put in there with Loma

Leo, it might be real bad when he finally gets a legit fight

I agree and leo has nothing special where garcia always has the GARSH to bail him out if he can land it, GRJ has speed and decent pop where as leo has nothing just workrate.

Haymon isn't holding anyone back... Mares and others have stated that Harmon lets u pick your opponents. The guys that aren't fighting anyone is due to their own choice

well, Al sure aint helping by making such easy choices...

imagine he sends Leo a list of

            1. Rigo
            2. Mares
            3.Walters

            instead of

            1. Cayetano
            2. Ruiz
            3. Roman

Wasn't Haymon involved in Peter pulling out from the Korbov fight?

Basically this. Sounds like guys are holding themselves back according to everyone who's went into how Haymon does business with his boxers.

That said Santa Cruz seems like champion of holding himself back, then again if someone was giving me $750,000 to fight my mailman I might not give a **** about taking chances either.

I believe Quillin has said he was looking to take some time off, due to his kid being born iirc, so its speculative at best if Haymon or anyone else really played into this decision although granted with the Roc Nation connection it seems like a hell of a coincidence best case. Quillin does seems like a unconventional thinker & just guy in general with how he operates so it wouldn't surprise me if that move was 100% him & him alone either so I think its up for debate.

That was Quillin's later excuse. At first he was saying things like Ya'll will see the bigger picture in time, and Haymon knows what's best etc. Later on he changed his tune to he needed time off, his uncle was sick etc.
