Right because everybody knows he would much rather fight cotto, Canelo, n Pacquiao than face the great King glass jaw khan. If anything he wants this fight but in sure he knows that it will be a hard sell to the public... especially if he wants to knock Canelo v Cotto of of the Sept date.

I don't know what Khan will do to beat Floyd, I could hit him with a left hook from here; Floyd has a good left hook.

Khans speed might give Floyd problems for maybe 2-3 rounds but after that he gets timed and beat down.

The only risk Floyd takes by fighting Khan is the risk of getting heavily criticized for taking on an unimpressive opponent.

More like Mayweather realizes that they can't sell the Khan bout anymore because Showtime's whole made up story line that Khan can't be outboxed and has unbelievable speed was thrown out the window when Algieri exposed him...

Khan is the easiest possible opponent for Mayweather. He has several glaring flaws in his defense that Mayweather will exploit all fight long, Floyd will drop him at least 2 times with a left hook. Virtually any other opponent is a bigger threat than Khan.

But, the Khan fight does more PPVs than a fight with Brook or Garcia so I think Mayweather waits a few weeks for people to forget how much Khan struggled with Algeri and then makes that fight. Like him or not, Khan is a name fighter and people will pay to see him fight Mayweather. It's about $ and of the feasible opponents, Khan makes the most money for Mayweather.

After that the only possible opponent for Mayweather in the Spring is Pacquiao, if that fight doesn't get made he is retired for good. A 2nd Pacquiao fight still makes Mayweather $100 Million + and I have a hard time thinking he turns that down even if it's a joke of a rematch that will be an even clearer decision the 2nd time around. The problem with May-Pac II is that Arum and Roach are going to have to accept at best a 75-25 split in favor of Mayweather. 60-40 is not happening again.

I think Naseem is conveniently forgetting that Maidana almost knocked Khan out in their fight.

The second fight will be an even clearer decision for Pacquiao this time you mean right?

I think they'll be forced to face Khan as he is the only viable option...Cotto can't fight in Sept. that's too soon...

The only other option is a Canelo rematch @155, but with the TV network conflict, I doubt that fight gets made..

Obviously Triple G isn't happening because of the networks issue and obviously Floyd isn't about taking risks...but that's the fight that would sell the most..
