If Triple G fights Cotto and KOes quick this will be expected and won't do anything for him but enhance his bank account.
The more even match is the one against Canelo and is the one that sparks interest because either man can win. GGG simply is in a weight that don't have the names and Quillin just won't fight him

Look at Cotto for instance. Miguel's already on that 'Golovkin diet.' A great diet assured to keep any JMW's lean and mean. Every time they're about to hit up that candy bar they think about having to move to MW and pick up a celery stick instead.Last edited by b d w; 06-09-2015, 06:55 AM.

I don't think Cotto or Canelo will fight GGG in the near future. I tab Canelo to win over Cotto and Cotto to go down to 154 or should I say 152 for the remainder of his career. Future looks bright for Canelo if he can take the straps for 160 and unify at 154.
1 more thing, I wouldn't be surprised to see Floyd try to steal away Cotto for Sept. 12th.

Are there any advanced negotiations for the Cotto-Alvarez fight? Did Floyd choose his September opponent?

Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce Miguel Cotto.
The World Boxing Council’s middleweight kingpin (for the time being, at least) struck a blow for title-level disorder Saturday night, but it wasn’t when he dispatched a bloated, non-combative Daniel Geale.
Rather, the Puerto Rican star made his biggest statement after the fight, when he confirmed that his next trick would be to once again step through the Mexico-based organization’s mandatory challenger – Gennady Golovkin – to engineer a pay-per-view match later this year with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.
The WBC’s president was smiling in the ring after the TKO and has suggested his alphabet group will sign off on a Cotto-Alvarez match – even though Alvarez holds no belts and has defeated no middleweight contenders – with the proviso that a pre-fight contract be drawn up guaranteeing Golovkin’s got next. Cotto is a diva that needs to be punished. He needs to be made an example of. GGG needs to bash this Diva's brains in.
