Cotto is a boss now and peasants ALWAYS wish death on their boss. Envy and low self esteem will drive a peasant to drink.

    Drink up!

hopefully this is what happens, cotto can go back down to 154 since he claims he isn't a middleweight, and can no longer hold the lineal title hostage
Good point, and I agree, he should be stripped.

But not for refusing to accept a mandate from Hypekin.

Fcuk the WBC, and fcuk Hypekin, he can make his own way.

The WBC dont recognise Klitschko, but they have decided to recognise Hypekin..... LOL..... Cotto is a superstar, so the WBC suddenly developing some integrity will not bother/affect him..... Cotto will make the best decision for Cotto, rather than be led around like a dog on a leash by those a55hats.

Cotto should be stripped for refusing to fight at 160.

He weighed in at 153, so is clearly not a middleweight.

" Holding the belt hostage ", is one of the silliest expressions, imho.....

But that expression applies perfectly in this case.

Fcuk off back to 154 Miguel.

Ooops, I mean 155, for Canelo

Neither Cotto or Canelo want anything to do with GGG. I'm not saying it as some GGG fanboy, it's just obvious truth. Cotto will never face him and the WBC is more than happy to see the Canelo-Cotto match-up and probably wouldn't be completely torn up if Canelo got the belt. They may or not make Canelo fight GGG if he wins, as I don't see an org based in Mexico stripping a Mexican fighter.

        GGG might just be screwed..

IF YO MANG COTTO don't want GGG then he should with respect give up the lineal title and let someone win it if he don't mind it being on his resume ?

I respect Cotto !!!! He is a KO artist, a Chicken Chaser, but was fouled up by Margo and Pac , was in limbo without a great trainer to bring him back , then found ROACH and ****O MANG looky what happened.

Cotto under Roacha should fighta Canelo for sure, I wish he would fight May Jr one more time for old time sake and see if he survives that at 154.

I think the Chickena Chasina COTTO with KO the nice shicken Jr
What happened to yo mang Pac ?

I thought you woulda quit that fake-a55 bullshht by now ?

            Haters in 3,2,1.
            Define your criteria for selection.

And then explain to me why Golovkin is included

And what do you call Manny, a55hat ?

              Let me answer.....

It depends on who he is fighting.

He could be the 142 champ one day, the 143 champ the next day, and the 144 champ a week later..... if fighting a JWW, Pac will be the 147 champ, and insist upon the divisional limit..... if fighting a welter, Pac will suddenly become the 144 champ again..... if fighting a JMW, Pac will be the 147 champ, or the 150 champ, again.

Always a please discussing boxing with a pacfan lol..... it is especially funny considering that you all are deeply inherently opposed to steroids and catchweights.

But GGG lovely, and he got nice smile.

                I love my Gennady

Jokes aside, you're right, Cotto should be stripped, he weighed 153 ffs.

Cotto won't give GGG it because he knows GGG is too much for him when it comes to actual Middleweights, and GGG knows Cotto is too small of a Middleweight, an easy win, but he wants that WBC strap and the fame with taking Cotto's scalp.

I just want Cotto to vacate the Middleweight strap so it's up for grabs again and GGG can go a head and collect it, and Cotto stay at the WW to Super Welterweight limit where he probably fits in moreso.

If anyone believes Cotto is a true Middleweight that can handle 160lb guys when he weighed only 153lbs, are serious haters or just pissed Cotto is holding the strap. I can understand if your pissed he's holding the strap, but don't make it that you want to see him get brutalized by a naturally larger dude with serious power. It's not the way he should go out at this stage of his career.

He should collect the massive paycheck with Canelo fight and possibly retire after that because I'm not sure how many other massive paychecks are around that don't present frightening danger.
                  Fcuk me !

I almost agree with every single word you wrote.

I never expected to read a knowledgable, well-balanced, rational, common-sense, post..... from a pacfan.

This article hit it on the head. Cotto will fight Canelo, and even if he should win he won't ever face GGG. Canelo probably would face GGG if victorious. Boxing should not always be just about money. Call me naive, but a champion should have honor and be willing to meet the best. That's what a champion is and that's what a champion does. It's a disgrace for a champion to hide behind excuses. Hell, even Floyd Patterson had the guts to face Liston, even though he and everyone else knew he had no chance of winning. I understand that pro boxing is a business, but Cotto had his gimme easy payday with Geale, now he needs to behave like a champion and face Golovkin.
