i've never been sold on walters and i wouldn't be surprised if he loses, he beat darchinyian and donaire, and in the first few rounds donaire had some success versus walters, i really don't think walters is that good, team marriaga!

Marriaga looks pretty solid, he should give Walters a run for his money. That said, I still have Walters by TKO/KO before the 9th rd.

IDK much about Marriaga but from the highlights he looks to be a sharp strong boxer puncher and to me Walters gets a little wild and sloppy when he fights he basically beat Donaire by brute force more so than skill he was also hitting Donaire on the back of the head a lot and lucky he wasn't penalized so It wouldn't surprise me either way it goes.. should be good!!

NW is a good fighter. The Donaire fight was a good fight. I question the illegal punch that stopped Donaire though. Walter's didn't mean to hit him there but it was an illegal punch, he couldn't recover from. Moving forward, I think that Miguel Marriaga has a shot to catch Walters COLD. It has been a bit of a lay off and Walter's does get hit. Puncher vs puncher. This will be a great action fight. I am predicting a KO win and upset by MM.
