All the Alabama love that Wilder is getting just goes to show how important building up fighters in their local area can be. If boxing is to get more popular that would be a good strategy, nurture the sport in places like Birmingham or Omaha or Oakland when they have talented fighters.

It can't just be about Vegas, LA, and New York all the time.
