Wrong. Eddie Hearn refused to negotiate and tried to act like he was in control of things when his fighter was clearly the B-side. He made two ****** offers and even had Quigg hold up a cheque on live TV like a complete mong.

McGuigan said they were going in a different direction because there was no point dealing with such arrogance from Hearn.

And Rigo has in the past been available to Frampton and Santa Cruz but their management has been keeping them back. The fighters need to step up and roll the dice and insist on the fight. And don't give me that sht about Rigo not being able to sell a ticket as if the unknown fighter Frampton is facing and the ones Santa Cruz has been facing sell more tickets????
Rigo brings his title to the table; Frampton brings everything else. Split the money 10:1 and see if Rigondeaux is interested. I doubt that he or his management would be, as they've seemingly already turned down offers from Roc Nation, and inquiries from Frank Warren and Matchroom Sport.

Because Leo Santa Cruz is making 15:1 compared to his no-name and no-ticket selling opponents, with a similar thing likely being true for Carl Frampton.

If that's the stand that you want to rest your laurels on, do you earnestly believe that Rigondeaux's camp takes either of those fights for $150k? Because that's about as much as he's worth as an opponent.

Frampton has had to literally sign with Haymon and come to America to try and find out where Leo is hiding.

That seems to me to be the end game, as it allows for the negotiations for Quigg-Frampton to happen without needing to have Eddie Hearn and Barry McGuigan in a room together; Haymon sits down with Hearn, and they work through the numbers together (fight draw significantly more money at a stadium in Belfast than anywhere else, unless the fight is the co-feature on next year's Wembley Stadium show, Sky Box Office would bring the most money to the table on TV, etc) to close the deal [added caveat of Haymon also likely bringing US TV to the broadcast].

He and Santa Cruz get one chance after this fiasco to fight a top fighter or sht is going to hit the fan and fans will turn. There is nothing Frampton can do to cut short their careers unless they wind up being hooked to medical equipment and I doubt that is going to happen. They are top rated contenders who deserve a shot at the title and win, lose, or draw, they will continue with their careers and any talk otherwise, is being overly dramatic.

@ putting Frampton in the same bracket as Santa Cruz who has been fighting soft touches back-to-back-to-back-to-back whilst literally ducking Frampton.

                    Quigg's next opponent.

Quigg vs Gonzalez: High Stakes 2.

While Santa is good at Cruz'ing through janitors and binmen, Frampton is neither, which makes the match up from happening unlikely to begin with.
