Frampton has ducked Quigg to fight a load of Al Haymon bums in America, great stuff.

        What a laughable notion.

Well obviously he's not ducked Quigg, but **** the Yanks, I wanted to see them two get it on. Then again maybe they will, Hearn seems to have a good business relationship with Haymon.

Who? I had to google them all just like I had to google this guy. Fight is in a month and was set up in about a week. Are any of those guys going to be willing to get in the ring with Frampton at such short notice for little money? Again....think about it. They all seem to be young, undefeated prospects - I doubt they'd want to have their careers derailed so quickly.

Frampton has fought and beaten better people than them so why would he avoid them? This is what it is. A fight to introduce and showcase Frampton to a US audience. If these "acceptable" opponents are ready later in the year, they can get it.

Quigg ducked him. Hearn apparently is now open to giving Frampton the 60% share of the revenue he deserves so the fight could happen later in the year.

Rigo is a fighter that almost literally brings nothing to the table; he fights a **** style, doesn't sell a ticket anywhere in the world (outside of possibly in Cuba), has no backing from any TV outlet, and doesn't do well with the press. Why even make an offer that is pretty likely to be turned down by a negative fighter.

It's not like offers haven't been made to Rigondeaux, and it's not like folks haven't been watching either. Why would Rigondeaux turn down Roc Nation, Frank Warren, and Matchroom Sport (all serious companies who looked to see if a promotional deal could be made), yet be willing take a "lets just see" offer?
Wrong. Its EXACTLY how prizefighting works. Rigo brings a world title and the title of the best super bantamweight in the world. EVEN Frampton said that to be considered the best, you have to beat Rigo. That is a direct quote. Looks like being considered the best is not important, just holding a title. And Rigo has in the past been available to Frampton and Santa Cruz but their management has been keeping them back. The fighters need to step up and roll the dice and insist on the fight. And don't give me that sht about Rigo not being able to sell a ticket as if the unknown fighter Frampton is facing and the ones Santa Cruz has been facing sell more tickets????

I didnt have to google them, nor would anyone who has watched PBC, ESPN, ShoBox, etc. I've seen Guzman on a PBC show and have seen Magdaleno fight at least six times on many cards and Rey Vargas a number of times. Not once have I seen Gonzales and I watch EVERY broadcast of boxing in America. And no one forced Haymon to make the garbage fight in a month, he could have made it for 6 weeks out against a fighter who has fought on American TV. And they are more than young undefeated prospects, they are high ranked contenders who are waiting for a title shot and like most contenders would jump at the chance for a world title opportunity. Instead Haymon and team Frampton decided on an unknown who lost to ancient Rosas, has never fought outside of Mexico, instead of a group of guys who cumulatively have been seen on American TV at least 12-15 times.

Frampton isn't retiring after this fight so you can calm down. He'd probably be good to go again 6 weeks later if one of these incredible prospects that you talk about wants to have their promising careers cut short. Or the Mayweather under card if Leo finally grows a set.

not true that Framptons team tried to make the Quigg fight, Whether you believe Quigg or Frampton would beat the other the truth is that only Quiggs team have wanted that fight, From Mcguigans own mouth were the words we are going in another direction. I only hope that Haymon can get these two together as Hearn seems to work well with Haymon.
in my top 5 fights that I would want this year
