He's beaten much better opponents than this guy and not nearly been knocked unconscious doing it.

He's declining fast. I knew some people were going to say "hes never been that good" which is not entirely true. He's looked far better than this, especially when he was a light weight. I noticed a decline in the Kamegai fight and then an even sharper decline in the Thurman fight.

I think the legal issues, combined with the one sided loss to Floyd, and then a year lay off, all after turning 30 took something out of him. Robert Guerrero used to be a solid B level fighter but he's looking like a C level fighter at best these days. He needs to hire a conditioning coach and maybe a new trainer if he ever wants to be a world champion again.

He definitely doesn't have a lot left. Not that he had a lot to start off with.

I don't know how a Berto hugfest and barely getting by Aydin convinced people Guerrero was some top tier welter. It boggles the mind. The great Clottey vs Guerrero debate of 2013, where people were claiming Guerrero was the superior fighter, still keeps up late some nights.

he didn't always fight that way. guerrero used to use the ring and throw combinations. he became more flat footed as a WW.

the berto fight was the real war that took a lot out of robert guerrero.
