Cotto made that deal with the WBC in order to get the opportunity against Martinez. Or else Martinez would have probably fought somebody else or fought Golovkin. *Now that Cotto has to live up to that arrangement he is not being honorable. He is backing out because he is being a diva. He fights Geale and doesn’t fight the winner of Golovkin/Rubio. So what does that say about Cotto’s word.

It says that Cotto's word is meaningless which is why Golovkin wants a signed contract before he will step aside and allow Cotto to defend his title against Canelo.

You and the likes make me feel dizzy. Since I've noticed you are using plural, please enlighten me. Who are top GUYS you are referring to. One is Andre Ward, and....
Are you saying GGG should fight 2 weight categories above (remember, Andre next fight is catch weight) to make it worthy. Or you think Andre should go down to 160 and take MW title.

You are also aware of the politics of a Lara fight but choose to ignore them like an ignorant troll. Which is not surprising as that is exactly what you are.

Notice to everyone: This guy is one of the biggest anti-Golovkin trolls on the Internet. He makes exactly the same kind of posts in the comments of RING articles on Disqus. The fortunate thing here is that he can be added to an ignore list, as he has just been added to mine. Do not waste your time arguing with him as he ignores facts and like all the GGG haters, does everything possible to twist and misrepresent facts to fit his point of view.
Nothing stopped K2 from calling Goossen and saying "hey, would Ward be willing to fight Golovkin for [X] amount of dollars", to then have Goossen and Ward weigh the offer. And continuing on with this nonsense about the "politics of a Lara fight" completely ignores the fact that Edwin Rodriguez (with Haymon acting as his manager) fought Andre Ward on HBO without much incident.

Notice to everyone: This guy earnestly believes that Golovkin, with Danny Geale being the best opponent he's ever faced and one of only two names on his ledger that are worth anything, is in the conversation for best middleweights to ever fight. Golovkin is going to fight two more bums this year, and this guy will trumpet those fights as epic showdowns where Golovkin proves his value as a fighter.

This guy too. Wishing Ward will protect Cotto.

This guy has Cotto hiding behind Ward

So why is Cotto so reluctant to fight him then? Why fight his leftovers instead?

The middleweight division doesn't have strong enough contenders to expose Golovkin's flaws. Every great fighter had flaws because there's no such thing as a perfect fighter. All they have to do is be the better fighter that night and that's all it takes and I don't see any middleweight being better than Golovkin. Even if they have their moments in the fight I don't see them giving Golovkin any real trouble because he doesn't give up and has more to offer than any other middleweight.
