  • Comments Thread For: Team Golovkin: To Keep WBC Belt, Cotto Must Make Deal

The stage is almost set for a fall mega-fight between Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez of Mexico.

But before that can happen, at least for Cotto's WBC middleweight title, a deal must be reached with WBA/IBO champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin.

Golovkin is the mandatory challenger to Cotto's WBC title. The sanctioning body ordered the winner of Cotto vs. Daniel Geale to face Golovkin next. Cotto stopped Geale in four rounds on Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Good, they shouldn't back down or accept deals. Force Miguel to take a knee and vacate or face an actual legitimate middleweight challenger at a comfortable weight who is mandatory to his belt.

The WBC doesn't want to get Rocchigiani'd again. Pay up Cotto or vacate.

It's hilarious to see Cotto-tards trying to come up with excuses for Cotto to continue to duck his mandatory. It's a very simple agreement to come to, all GGG wants is a signed agreement that the winner of Cotto-Canelo will fight Golovkin NEXT. No voluntary in between, no rematch in between, no fight at another weight class in between. Whoever wins fights Golovkin NEXT.

Why is Cotto so against giving that guarantee? He claims in interviews that he would 'possibly' fight GGG after Canelo, so why not make it official? What is stopping him? Why do his fans try to invent excuses for him not to give that guarantee? Cotto is not Floyd. He knows how to read and how to sign his name. There is nothing preventing him from signing an agreement that obligates him to actually live up to the obligation he is avoiding by fighting Canelo in the first place.

There isn't a set of balls among the entire bunch of them!

                  Hahahahaha...GGG is Cotto' side piece.

Lol. It's like you got a chick you really trying to get with and a side piece that you just messing with just cause. Cotto just need to give that side ***** a few dollars to go shopping or buy her a pair of shoes so she'll keep her mouth shut while he go after bigger and better things.
