Comments Thread For: Chudinov's Promoter: Buglioni is Next, Then Sturm II

WBA 'regular' super middleweight champion Fedor Chudinov (13-0, 10KOs) is going to have a busy year, according to his promoter Vladimir Hryunov of Russia.

According to Hryunov, Chudinov will make the first defense of his title against British contender Frank Buglioni (16-1-1, 12KOs) on July 24th at Wembley Arena in London

No way Buglioni deserves a title shot, I guess his promoter (Warren?) must be putting up a good amount of money to get Chudinov to travel over here and defend. Buglioni doesn't look the goods so far so it doesn't seem like the smartest investment but maybe he sells more tickets than I realise or something.

Buglioni is a wannabe-Calzaghe and already exposed. This guy cant even beat a paper-titlist like Chudinov and he cant even punch. He is lame. But i understand why they pick easy opponents for Chudinov because he just had 13 fights.

          Don't fancy Buglioni's chances much.

From Buglioni's perspective he might as well.

He definitely loses though and probably gets knocked out.

I can't see him being a boxer for that much longer. He seems a sensible bloke and is quite intelligent and he is not even really a top-flight domestic super-middleweight unless he is getting lots of money I think he should assess his options.

              Odd.

Boxnation are advertising Buglioni v Markham II for that date.

Of course Chudinov doesn't want to stay at home, because he probably won't make as much money that way. Not to be presumptuous, but does Chudniov even have a solid Russian following?

It irks me how Sturm continues to get chances. Can someone knock that mother****er out already?

Won't happen. Sturm picks opponents carefully and doesn't fight anyone with the power to knock him out. And even if he were knocked out, he could continue selling the German ticket-buying public on his title fights for the next 20 years
