Comments Thread For: Roach: If We Beat Canelo, We'd Have To Fight GGG

Puerto Rico's Miguel Cotto retained his World Boxing Council middleweight world title with a crushing victory over Australia's Daniel Geale. Cotto knocked down Geale twice in the fourth round before referee Harvey Dock stopped the bout at 1:28 of the fourth. Cotto dominated from the opening bell in front of a crowd of 12,100 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Cotto landed a devastating left hook early in the fourth and then finished off the challenger soon after with a series of body shots that sent the Aussie to the canvas for a second time. Geale got up but was obviously unable to continue and Dock called a halt.

Cotto would Drop Roach if Roach tried to Force him to fight GGG. He will lose to Canelo on Purpose, get a nice paycheck, and retire. He don't want none of GGG. I want to see GGG beat the **** out of Cotto, It just won't happen because Cotto is too much of a Coward.

Why would he lose to Canelo on purpose when he has a posable rematch with Mayweather? Thats the payday Cotto wants. Every one is so hyped on GGG, dudes best opponent was Geale..

No, if (a big if) he beats Canelo, then Cotto will cash his huge check and vacate rather than face Golovkin. Either retire or move down to 154 and maybe fight Lara. BUT HE WILL NEVER FACE GOLOVKIN. BANK ON IT!

With Cottos activity and Diva attitude he will probably not fight Canelo in September. No way they can agree to terms so "quickly" and Cotto needs a half year vacation after this sparring session against Geale. He also will never have the guts to face GGG even though Roach wants the challenge. 3rd Person Cotto only does whats best for Miguel Cotto and his family and that means staying away from healthy undrained fighters.

Canelo will probably fight Clottey in September even though i wish he would fight GGG.
