What do you expect.... Pbc basically gave us a crappy FnF type card

If PBC is gonna be successful and be the "ufc" of boxing, it needs to follow the matchmaking of ufc and give no easy fights and constantly matchup the best available fighters... The cream will rise to the top

These crap cards aren't going to bring excitement or grow fanbase

        Is that a serious question?

Actually think it filled in pretty good later. You gotta remember it was at 12. They showed up after the main which sucks for them lol

I'm legitimately puzzled by what he's doing. I want this to succeed because I love the amount of fights we get but, he's overpaying guys like ghost and is 50/50 with quality of fights. People want great fights and he has the roster to do it. The public will still support a fighter that loses.

                Yeah.. Me too...

Only thing I can think of is year 1 he wants to establish the name fighters before putting them against one another down the road...

But Haymon's got a big enough roster where he should be able to match these guys tough everytime..

                This card should be
                Breazeale vs Mansour
                Ghost-Porter

                Match making is key...

                Dirrell-degale
                Thurman-ghost
Were good solid matchups and gave us the best fights of pbc so far

People continue to justify PBC's numbers by blaming the time slot, other major events going on during the same time, etc.. But tend to overlook the fact that most of the fights thus far happen to be not only lackluster, but the fighters themselves are getting overpaid for sparring sessions.

I'm all for fighters getting paid handsomely... but something doesn't seem right when the event is sprinkled with a few people here and there in attendance yet the premier fighter is racking in a million bucks.

Haymon fighters better be grabbing as much as they can while the pay is good, things may change in the not so distant future at this rate.

It's fair to say that it was "ghost town"

That's the thing, these numbers can work if they're not paying guys like Guerrero a ****in million! Lol. I realize they have a long term goal but dont throw money away.
