StubHub Center, Carson, California - Now fighting as a middleweight (although he failed to make weight on Friday), Alfredo Angulo (23-5, 19KOs) knocked out Delray Raines (19-11-1, 14KOs) in the fifth round.

Raines had some early moments and made it competitive in the first three rounds, but quickly faded. In the fourth round, Raines went down from a series of hard punches to the head and body. During the fifth, Angulo dropped Raines for the second time with a barrage of shots. He looked like garbage in there. He was losing rounds outside of the shots that made the dude with 10 losses drop to a knee. Perro is just washed up. It happened kind of suddenly and surprisingly, but it's over. He's not beating anyone with a pulse.

I liked it. The opponent was a giant for that weight class and was surprisingly game, considering his record. Angulo got warmed up and took him out. Would be fickle to act as if it wasn't a good fight and expectedly good performance.

Great fights all afternoon but the bytches here do nothing but complain.

WAR ANGULO FOR LIFE!!!!!!! We back baby!!! I was barking and **** through the fight lol. There is something about Angulo lol, no matter how slow and limited he might be, I will always support him.

Very good to see Angulo win and get that losing streak off his back. He is a good guy and a warrior.

Ward stay ducking hard though. Now that Angulo left their gym, he wont have the excuse to keep ducking Angulo. We'll see.

No matter how slow and limited Angulo may be, he is an exciting fighter to watch and always gives it his all(even if at this point it's not much). I just hope he makes the best decisions for his career. Shot or with something still left in him I will always be a fan, support what he does, and watch his fights, unlike some people here.

Ward ducking Angulo? You can't be serious? During his time with Hunter Angulo was fighting as a jr middleweight, while Ward has always been a super middleweight. They're not in the same weight class now and Angulo is not a top guy at the moment for this to even be considered a discussion.
