Also Thurman was nursing a serious injury during the fight with Guerrero

Didn't Guerrero go life n death with some Japanese bum a year before the Thurman fight? I'm not buying the excuse that Thurman has "ruined" him. What has he actually done in his career that's significant? Beat Berto?

Apparently fighting Floyd or Pacquaio and losing every round means you're an elite fighter now.

Guerrero definitely underestimated this Martinez guy but he does look shot, I was shocked when he got knocked down...this guy only had 4 KOs...

I think Guerrero will probably fight D.Garcia, Maidana or Porter at the end of the year and then call it a day.

Guerrero was never a great welter, it's Thurman's biggest "name" win but not his best win by any means imo and he easily defeated him.

First Carson Jones fight was lack of motivation. And Kell is a better motivated hungry fighter for winning that title and it's clear to see.

Karras would beat RG at WW, or at least would have if they had fought 2013-2014. Chaves is probably "one time's" best win.

Spot on, Chaves is Thurman's best win.

He shut Guerrero out without any trouble.

This was because of all the punishment he took from kieth ..had nothing to do with kieth fighting a washed up Guerrero the fight before kieth with the Asian fighter and the accumulation againt kieth have basically shortened his career...he was limp in that 4th rd don't know how the ref ain't stop it there..he might be concussed because he was gone..watch the replay

He's only had one world level fight, so its hard to say what level he is truly at

Brook vs Porter was hardly a one sided beat down

Thurman dismantled Guerrero while nursing a injury

i always said guerrero was not test for up and comers. somehow beating berto and being a floyd warmup had people thinking robert is some legit name at WW smh. brook, thurman, and soon to be spence are the real future of the division. and maybe a few guys from 140 will move up and shine.
