Guerrero has never really been that good. It was a good fight for Thurman because he needed a name on his resume. Guerrero's a name due to his fight with Mayweather. He was basically a glorified showcase fight for Thurman.

The thing is he also struggled mightily against Selcuk Aydin, Andre Berto and Kamegai.

Exactly ,Guerrero wasn't healed from the beating Thurman put on him . So the logic doesn't really wash that Thurman is no good because of the way Guerrero fought today, Martinez did put more damage on the "ghost" who should think of quitting soon.

Kamegai, not a huge puncher but that fight was a savage war, Thurman fight also didn't help.

But truth is RG ain't that good, especially at WW, beats Bertoe who was a hypejob, beat Aydin who again beat no one at 147. he is just a name because he got the Floyd fight.

As a Maidana fan, i want this as Chino's comeback fight, Maidana will look spectacular in this fight, score a KD or 2, maybe even a stoppage. he gets him on the ropes like the fetaher fisted Martinez did but obviously its even worse vs Maidana.

What would Thurman do to Carson Jones?
