Comments Thread For: Dominic Breazeale Drops Consuegra 3 Times For TKO

StubHub Center, Carson, California - In a battle of undefeated heavyweights, Dominic Breazeale (15-0, 14KOs) stopped Yasmany Consuegra (17-1, 14KOs) in the third round after soring three knockdowns in the contest.

Consuegra got off to a good start in the first and he was controlling the second until the final ten seconds when Breazeale caught him with a right hand that put him down. In the third, Breazeale scored another knockdown and this time Consuerga was really hurt. He beat the count, but was dropped again after a hard combination. Once again he beat the count and the referee waved it off as the Cuban fighter seemed to be spent.

If Breazeale can get better at blocking the right hand he could be a force. He has a lot of power, you could heart the sound of his first knockdown clearly.

Nothing to see here, just another American heavyweight hopeful that'll be knocked out soon as he steps up.

Knockdown came via rabbit punches, stoppage was complete bull**** and Breazeale couldn't stop eating right hands.

The stoppage was weak but those weren't rabbit punches they were right behind the ear which is fine. Besides, where else was Breazeale suppose to punch when Consuegra was ducking his head illegally below the waist? Consuegra's own fault if you ask me.
