    Virgil Hunter, trainer of WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward, is picking 168-pound contender Carl Froch (33-2, 24KOs) to beat newly crowned IBF champion James DeGale (21-1, 14KOs).

    Froch and DeGale have had a rivalry going since last year, when DeGale became the mandatory challenger to Froch's IBF belt. Froch vacated the title earlier this year and the IBF ordered Froch and DeGale to fight each other for the vacant title.

      Good. Now maybe Froch will sign to fight DeGale, and we can see who wins (and get beyond speculation).

          people are so delusional if they think DeGeale can beat froch lol, and I dont blame froch for not wanting to fight DeGeale that a major step back for him lmfao.

              A fight with Degale obviously just doesnt interest Froch for those reasons. If that fight was actually made that is the biggest danger to Froch losing (as with first Groves fight) in that Froch underestimates him.

                              Well he would say that. It's Ward's best win and he knows DeGale is the biggest threat to his boy at SMW. He saw first hand what he did to that other kid from his gym.
