    PS: Unblock me
As shallow as the division is he is defending his title against the 45th ranked man, which speaks volumes.

He is already bigger and better than floyd IMHO. Floyd has never been recognized as a great fighter any of these years in the public media. In fact, floyd is one of the few athletes that is clowned, ridiculed and crucified on a daily basis on major networks. The only thing he gets credit for is being a good businessman.

He won't get past Povetkin, if that fight happens. I see Povetkin stopping him.

I think it's quite possible. Though Floyd does big numbers, casuals really don't know who he is and I think he'll be forgotten about after he retires because his fights don't have much rewatch value. Deontay's biggest problem will be finding compelling fights. Then again, Tyson came to stardom obliterating less than top notch guys so who knows....

Floyd has possibly the smallest and most lowlife backing of any established champion boxer I can think of, because there's never been a more despisable champ as far as I know.

Renders Bum Squad's comment particularly ridiculous!

As for the quality difference, Floyd happens to have among the best resumes of any boxer of all time and is rather "infamous" worldwide, if that counts as being "big" also. And is a master boxer.

Wilder on the other hand? Has the ****tiest resume imaginable on record by a certain measure of any champ, has fought one of the bummiest list of opponents not seen since the 70's era, is hardly known yet worldwide out of boxing circles. And whilst showing potential, is still not properly proven, even after 30+ fights!

              ****ing Bum Squad!

Maybe he should try just being bigger Tyson. At this point he's not even close.

If he already thinks he's a superstar look for him to take a couple Eric Molina type fights then step up the competition and get KTFO then give us the "I've been humbled and I'll come back serious" speech... I've seen this movie before.
I can see this happening as well. Wilder's starting to remind me a lot of Broner in a number of ways, though at least he's still somewhat likeable as a person. But his delusional predictions and growing sense of entitlement all point to a man who, sooner or later, is in for a rude awakening.

Wilder is already bigger than Mayweather. Much bigger. Wilder is about 220, Mayweather is 150.
