That's a pretty early weigh in. That gives Geale a good amount of time to recover from making the weight. A good 30+ hours.

Cotto weighed in really light. At this point he should just drop the belt And fight at 154.

At least Cotto can still make 154lb. I think he'll be fighting Canelo @154 for the vacant WBC title.

The Champion didnt even weigh in at the minimum(155lbs) for a Middlewight fight...

Does that mean he is going to be stripped(at the scales like they do for those champs who weigh over the limit of a certain division)?

Is Geale the only one who can get the belts if he wins the fight?

Does Cotto become the #1 contender for the belts if he wins?

Afaik you can come as far under the limit as you want as long as the limit is 155+

Geale should be okay, shame Cotto will get no credit if he wins but they do that to themselves.
