But To say he's better when Martin Murray is your best win is disgraceful to boxing, forget Cotto.
You are an ignorant casual fan in denial. Why do you think GGG is ranked in all the well known p4p rankings, The Ring, Boxrec and ESPN unamiously at #4 while no one is ranking Cotto. An irrelevant internet loudmouth trying to argue with thousands of boxing insiders.

Is the size difference really that insurmountable? He's 3 inches taller, which really doesn't mean anything, has a 3 inch reach advantage as well. Golovkin comes into the ring at 170 and Cotto is at least 165 on fight night. Is 5 lbs that much of a handicap? Because if it is then that's bad news for a potential Canelo fight I which he will have a larger weight disadvantage at hand.

Martinez is the same height as GGG and had a 6 inch reach advantage on Cotto. Even guys like Rodriguez, Margarito, Clottey, and Trout all had a larger reach and height advantage than GGG would enjoy over Cotto. As a fighter i'd rather have a reach advantage over a measly 5 lb. weight advantage.

Edit. Hell even Daniel Geale is the same size as Golovking. Same height as well as slightly longer reach, and with all this talk about the CW you know he struggles to make weight and comes in bigger than Golovkin. And it won't really matter since Cotto is the much better fighter.

OMG how can you be this ******, there are 6ft tall lightweights, height means nothing. But I'm sure you right, Cotto who was universally considered small at JMW is now somehow not fighting against the odds because it suits your GGG agenda. GGG is a huge MW, I'm sick of saying it at this stage. He is ****ing huge.

Arthur Abraham is bigger than Dirrell, do you understand that, idiot?

I'm the casual fan? You are basing your ranking on other peoples opinons and somehow think that makes YOU credible? You ****ing laughing stock. Emm, if I'm irrelevant, how are you not?

Fighting insiders like Teddy"can't pick a fight right" Atlas and Fat "I think Floyd should fight Khan" Dan can shove their bull**** and BOUGHT opinons up their arse.

P4p ( now I'm really not sure you know what this means) I'd pick Donaire to take GGG out in less than 2 rounds, but you are an idiot who doesn't understand levels and fall in love with hype, Bet you think Tyson was great as well.

You just slammed Atlas and Rafael and then follow it with a statement about Donaire stopping Golovkin in 2? All morning you've been whining about Golovkin being a 'BIG' MW, then you use Donaire as an example of someone who's better?

Donaire was huge at BW, but then moved up 122 and started struggling fighting guys closer to his own size. He devolved over time into a basic head hunter with one punch, but you're saying he's better than a skilled technician like Golovkin.

Yes he's much better than the guy who lied about letting guys hit him.

Yes your right, when Donaire was the guy that was huge at the weight(Like GGG is now) he was putting guys like Montiel to sleep, Montiel a guy levels above anyone GGG has fought.

So using this logic, what is going to happen to Mr. GGG when he fights guys his own size??

And we've come full circle, GGG is just another Donaire and Broner picking on smaller guys, he just looks way less impressive doing it.

And I picked Donaire because p4p he'd show GGG what a real left hook looks like.

Wait, you're saying Roach knows GGG will beat the **** out of Cotto, but in the same breath he says they need the WBC belt to prove their the best? GGG would be favored over any fighter at MW... apparently beating an ex JWW is the only way to prove this. Or winning a specific belt apparently is they key. I guess Cotto is the best MW by Sanchez's own admission.

Typical GGG camp BS, nothing new to see here. It went from unifying, without ever winning another belt for 2 years. Now they just need the WBC belt to prove they're the best, that'll do it. If Geale wins, the only way we REALLY now if GGG is the best is he rematches Geale. Even now I don't know who is better Geale or GGG.

Right so what makes him huge? I addressed reach as well as weight I don't know if you caught that. Also refer to the part in my post where I said height doesn't really mean much, maybe after you calm your little emotional ass down you'll be able to properly digest what I said.

Cotto has fought and beat fighters with a larger reach advantage before and tommorow night he'll face a guy with a longer reach than Golovkin who struggles to make 160 unlike GGG. So why isn't Geale too big for Cotto?

You're off. You refuse to admit Golovkin is a natural MW and are trying to attribute his success to a size advantage. He's filled out in his frame and would have add weight to match the same rehydration/walk around weight you see with SMW's.

Donaire was young when he was making a name for himself at 115 and 118. He got older and had to move up and started struggling. Golovkin is 33 and has no need to move up.

We seen what happened with Donaire when he fought somebody his own size who could take his punch and hit back just as hard when he fought Walters. Golovkin has a lot more skill than Walters and would end Donaire quickly.
