IIRC the WBO was never for Floyd to win, only for Manny to lose. Why? Boxing politics/WBO commission skulduggery. I'm not 100% sure what happened to the WBA strap, guessing Floyd dropped it and I believe Floyd is still holding onto the WBC 147 and 154 belts for some reason.

Hes keepn those WBC straps bcuz hes going for that 5th lineal. Hint: WBC/lineal 140Lb title, WBC/lineal 160lb title. WBC lineal in 3 weights when he retires. Garcias the mark as Floyd would have to jump up 2 divisions(bad move in boxing) to fight Cotto, someone he already beat.

I like GGG, he deserves and is positioned for a shot at Cotto. Fact of the matter is he lacks the level of opposition that would make him a good win for Floyd. Not happening. If Floyd was to challenge for a MW strap it would be Cotto. When a comes to boxing, a fighter is only as good as his (recent) opposition. Cotto just beat Martinez, GGG just beat Willie Monroe Jr. Thats how you measure a fighters mettle.
