while guys like floyd mayweather weigh in at 140 and come in the next day at 143 pounds closer to his natural weight.

I weigh 145 pounds and I am 5 feet 8, what division should I train at? someone told me If I were to fight it would have to be at lightweight but I think 140 pounds would make more sense.
You would fight at 130 for a couple of years and then move to light weight.

Pullcounter is right. You should go as low as you can without losing any strength. Height does not really matter it is more on the type of frame you have that can also determine how much weight you can put on.

It wouldnt be extremely hard for you to lose 15 pounds. Fighters run miles everday. Floyd is the same height as you and look how tall Chico is. Most all fighters weigh atleast 15 pounds more when there not in training
