Lee Selby will be treated to a hero’s welcome in his hometown of Barry this Saturday to celebrate his tremendous performance in London last weekend in winning the IBF World Featherweight title.

Selby ripped the belt from IBF boxer of the year Evgeny Gradovich at The O2, dominating the Russian from the opening bell until the fight was stopped on cuts in the eighth round and the Welshman became his country’s 12th World champion on the scorecards.

He's definitely deserves to have his 1st defence in Wales, but to really cash in he's going to have to fight abroad next year!

Lomachenko would catch up with him and slow him down with body shots. Walters? I would have to say if he landed it would be goodnight Vienna but Selby might get lucky and sc**** a decision. Russell - I would have him as a close favorite. He has more speed but I have a feeling Selby would time him.

So beat him senseless - No! Anyway you should be looking forward to Selby challenging himself not throwing a wet blanket over any potential match up.

Well, he's already lost a fight, so he'll never match Calzaghe
