He agreed to the CW though... If you agree to it then you can't complain about it. He didn't have to take the fight.

Why? Won't matter, his Stan's will spin it and make it look like Cotto is a God.
He can't do no wrong with his Stan's. He's "earned" all of this as far as their concerned.

he took the fight for money.
you seem to think that means he'll be healthy because he took the fight. other than that, i'm not sure what you're trying to get across.

you get a call from your people, probably dr shaw hi, telling you that cotto's people got in touch. you literally start to salivate.
"at the table" cotto's people let you know their terms, which include a weight that is going to compromise you. you can take those terms or leave them.
your manager makes 30%, ballpark.
your promotor probably gets a flat fee and tries to profit after your purse and costs.
they want you to take the fight.
do you take a million dollars, or leave it?

i don't think the term "diva" is fair.
these guys aren't afraid. they're great boxers, after all. cotto is a hall of famer. marquez is an all time great.
they're businessmen looking to make a F#ckload of money without taking a pounding. if you don't take a beating, you can fight again.

NE, when you refer to yourself in the 3rd person, you're pretty much a diva
all i'm waiting for now is for Cotto to add 'The' before referring to himself in the 3rd person
Kellerman: that was a great performance, Miguel...what's next for you?
Cotto: The Miguel Cotto will take some time off and decide with his team...we will decide what is best for The Miguel Cotto
