If you watch one of the first interviews he gave back then after signing with Haymon, he started to trot out the exact same cliches as Floyd. "Boxing is a business now, I have to be smart in the ring and outside out". He'd never said that before

Lets be clear, Im no Khan fan. However, I do think its Haymon and his team that are holding him back from fighting the top guys at Welterweight.

I also think his career has gone downhill after signing with Haymon. He's become something of a joke figure within boxing circles now and reading articles on here, he gets more hate than Adrien Broner, a day I'd never thought I'd see.

I think all the criticism he gets online, I think it does get to him. I dont think he's got a very thick skin. After the last fight against Algieri, he's given several interviews to the british media and he just looks dejected. Think he knows he's f'ucked up in the last few years and the Mayweather fight might be slipping away and is it all his fault or could it be Haymon's. Saying that though, he should have been more stronger and just said, I want to fight whoever and make a statement in my division.
Let's not blame Al for everything ...he was a joke before Al ...stop
    That bs

Yeah you on crack PAC must be 52-8 ...he's right it's was a easy option or fight from Floyd ....look at pacs top rank peers even saying he lost ...Garcia camp says only 3 rounds ...I give him 4 ...we know Holyfield mad Floyd's boy scooped up his foreclosing house ...that was easiest fight I've seen Floyd fight since Guerrero ....Floyd beat canelo at prime young age but he's was to young now ...he beats mannyst the same age manny is now when he beat canelo but pacs too old ....pacs a arum gemmick give it up ...and I thought khan would give Floyd tougher fight because he's a bigger guy ...but not anymore ...it would be just as easy as PAC fight

Let's also not pretend Haymon has nothing to do with it.

Before Haymon, Khan actually fought people worth a ****. Whether he won or lost.

Even before he signed with Al Haymon he was disliked by many people.

The guy is a deluded fool, the only fanbase he has are ******s.

I have to agree with Amir here, Floyd fought Pac at the right time when he was a shell of what he used to be he was knocked out cold and it changed his style he already lost his legs after the margo fight from margos brutal body attack and pressure, Amir would still lose to Floyd but he would have more youth to him and put up more punches but Floyd would probably get his first legit KO in ages with Amir, Floyd hits harder than Algieri and Khan can't really punch so Floyd will probably walk him down since Amir will movve a lot, the only downside is Khan vs Mayweather could wind up a clinch fest since both guys have become excessive clinchers to avoid exchanges they just tie up or choke hard until the ref breaks it. Floyd used to have a crazy phonebooth slip game and would fight inside head to head, now he just ties up. Khan used to never clinch under roach now with Virgil he became andre ward 2.0 in clinch terms, excessive clinching needs to be punished severally it brings no action and doesnt bring new fans to boxing.
