Amir Khan has laughed off claims that he's scared of Kell Brook - and still wants to fight Floyd Mayweather.

The English welterweights have been on an apparent collision course since Brook won the IBF championship last August but Khan insists his reluctance to fight does not stem from fear.

Khan outpointed Chris Algieri in New York last week, the night before Brook halted Frankie Gavin in his second title defence in London, yet a bout between the duo is no closer to being finalised.

Brook is a bit too scary for Floyd i heard so khan fits the bill. But he better not overtrain for Floyd as he wants to do a bit better than he did against algieri.

But the brook fight will happen one day. Brook just needs to step it up a bit, there must be someone other than Rios who wants to fight him.
