British star Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) is fresh from his twelve round decision victory over Chris Algieri from last Friday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Khan is angling to secure the fight he's been chasing for the last two years, a fall showdown with WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26KOs).

Mayweather is planning to return on September 12th, and claims that ring appearance will the final fight of his pro career. Khan has already made it clear, on national television, that his schedule has no roadblocks to face Mayweather in September.

People have no respect for Cotto. EVryone thinks he is an accidental champion. Khan and Bradley want to fight, but both are wary of Canelo at 154. Cannot plane them....if little Pacquiao beat Cotto, Cotto must be very vulnerable to other boxers.

Cotto's hands are not as lively as Canelo's.

Khan would lose worse to Cotto than he would to Mayweather because Cotto actually has Power and will force a fight. I would much rather see a Cotto Khan fight than a Gayweather and Fawn fight. This might actually be the first real challenge for Khan other than Maidana which was imo a gift victory. If he can beat Cotto(who I also think is a major fluke fighter and far far overrated who's ego out does his skills) then maybe I would say Khan deserves Mayweather.
