Just so we're all clear here, if Mayweather fights Khan he'll be criticized by 65% of the posters for taking a joke of a fight. If Mayweather fights someone else, he'll be criticized by the other 35% of the posters for ducking Khan.

Personally, it is a joke of a fight, but Mayweather has earned the right to fight whoever he wants for his last go.

lmao.. so Ortiz and Guerrero beating BERTO meant they "deserved" the Floyd fight? Pacquiao beating Algieri meant he deserved the Floyd fight? Marquez beating Julio Diaz at 135 - now he deserved the Floyd fight at 147. Canelo arguably losing to Trout - now he deserves the Floyd fight. Maidana beating hype job Broner - now he deserves the Floyd fight.

You guys have this strange standard which only applies to Khan but virtually all of Floyd's other opponents it's fine who they beat before getting Floyd and most of them beat people who weren't as good as Algieri - it's only Khan who has to keep proving himself continuously - it's like he's on a never-ending initiation ceremony with you dudes.. lol

When is it NEVER a mismatch? every opponent that floyd fights, it's a mismatch. At least Khan offers something different.

A KO is about the only thing I'd expect to see different from the usual Mayweather fight.

I'm not against Khan being in the discussion, as good or bad his performance, he's still a top level guy with a name so it'll sell cuz people will watch, but at the end of the day I'd rather see Mayweather allegedly end his career vs a higher caliber opponent who's viewed as more of a threat. Thurman & Brook fit that bill better than Khan does.
