He would be a small SMW, but look at the potential match-ups at MW right now. I'm not saying he has to permanently move up to 168, but at least give it a shot. Anyone who matters at MW will continue to walk on eggshells, and guys like Heiland/Johnson don't provide much of a challenge.

I've often believed he should take the Hopkins route and just stay there and bide his time. Eventually much like Hoya did for B-Hop, Canelo will take the fight and Triple G will get to punch his golden ticket.

Catch weights shouldn't be allowed for world title fights.

Geale always Looks soft during his fights. if he would train properly he should be able to make 157 easily. If he dont its his own fault.

Geale should show up at 160lb for the weigh-in and not a pound less. DARE Cotto to cancel the fight because the opponent made the official Middleweight weight limit.

It would be an embarrassment if it got cancelled even though Geale was a Middleweight.

I'm telling you, they are having a nightmare with the catchweight. They brought it up several times during the conference call.

This would be the best scenario. Force the MW champ to actually fight a MW.

I bet there would be a heavy fine for that. Like enough so it wouldn't be worth doing.

And you also have the chance of Cotto refusing the fight because of it.

That is a lose-lose for a guy who literally got a gift title shot.
