Really sounds about on track. He can drop 10.5lbs of water weight and still be ok.

If Cotto wins, he is then likely going to face Mexican star Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. The last time Cotto was in line to face Canelo, he took on Austin Trout in a junior middleweight contest in December of 2012 at Madison Square Garden. The fight did not go as expected with Trout piling up the points to hand Cotto his first defeat at MSG. It was Trout who went on to face Canelo the following year.Comment
