Thats exactly what they did with Rios, Hearn and Arum probably came to an agreement weeks/months ago.
And do you think Hearn and Haymon haven't discussed the possibility of Thurman-Brook and want to maximise the earnings of that fight instead of rush into it?

Again, ignorance is running wild here.

There was talks with Al Haymon about Thurman, but he wasn't coming over. Bradley has no fan base and HBO probably weren't willing to pay a lot to come over anyway - and that's disregarding the fact that he's fighting Jessie Vargas for probably a larger purse, easier fight AND a belt.

      All brook's fault doe.

      • Cutting through the BS, Hearn didnt want that Brook-Khan fight to happen next. Why would he when he can sell out o2 and as Dirk says 30-40k for Rios in what are low risk fights

As for the fight itself, it was OK. Nothing special.

And seriously, you couldn't own me in your wildest dreams.
Well you said this in August about rios possibly fighting brook last year. But algieri vs khan in a non title fight sucks doe

Possibly. You seem okay with that, so dont bash Khan for wanting to not fight Brook ahead of a potential Mayweather clash

Trust me, if the shoe was on the other foot, the likes of Hanz Goober and these other yanks would say that Brook booked a fight early to avoid Thurman and Bradley if they were the ones fighting in August.

              The American way.

Yeah he didn't want it to happen next.

                Dude you don't get it.

Algieri was absolutely humiliated against Pacquaio and was the laughing stock of the boxing world. Meanwhile, Khan was telling everyone how Brook wasn't big enough for him and he needed to "earn" it (despite being world champion and Khan telling everyone before and after that if Kell became champ he'd fight him). He said he was looking at the likes of Mayweather or Pacquiao or even Cotto - and then goes to fight Algieri.

What does my comment even have to do with that? I've never said Rios was a great fight - but it's a better fight than Algieri that's for sure.

But Khan had 6 or 7 million pounds on the table. The fight was set to go for Wembley Stadium for a world title. It is a huge fight. It was on a silver platter for Amir and he walked away to fight a kickboxer for 1/5 of the money.

Brook and Thurman fight now. How much do you reckon they each earn? Where's the fight going to take place? Who takes the lions share of the purse? Has Haymon made an offer?

                    Sheer ignorance.
