        I don't think people realise how tormented Mayweather is.

        He said something at in the post fight press conference that made it somewhat clear. That he instilled in his children that it was okay not to win, so long as they tried their best. Before that, he mentioned how the mentality he grew up with was winning and finishing first.

        I think from a young age that doesn't set the best foundations in the sense that much of the work he'd be putting in would be to get his father's approval. It creates a warped sense of what love is and how he should get it. On a level Mayweather understands, otherwise he wouldn't have raised his children differently, but his mind is stuck in a place where he feels his only option is money.

        Fathers and mothers need to be careful when raising their children. So many try to create a prodigy without thinking of lost along the way.
