To be honest he beats most B/C class non punchers now but throw a Welter puncher in there and he's a goner. Welterweight Maidana knocks him out, Garcia puts him back on twerk street, Thurman near kills him, Porter would KO him too.

A crude, raw Maidana almost killed him. The current Maidana is a noticeably different fighter than the one from 2009-2012. He'd finish the job this time.

Maidana had a KO ratio over 90% when he faced Khan, yet he could never drop Khan even once despite hitting him flush with a lot of clean shots, but instead it was Maidana who was dropped in the first round. Maidana's KO ratio has since decreased after going up to Welterweight, while Khan's durability has increased after going up in weight. Sure, Maidana's skills have improved since then, but so have Khan's skills improved since then. Maidana's chances of KO'ing Khan now isn't any better than it was back then.

once algeiri figures out how to follow up with a combination, he'll drop fighters, his problem in the khan fight was he was throwing a right hand, but not following with anything, because this style of boxing was foreign to him

Kind of a side topic but with Algieri switching trainers and seeing the type of fight he brought on Friday from his style in the Pac-Provo fights, thats a sign of a great fighter and a more complete one. Hes better equipped to handle different styles now. Im kinda curious who he fights next and how, think of the improvement that will come in another camp with JDJ.

Khans durability hasnt changed at all. He was getn shook by Algieri who is a 140lber..why is it hard to understand? The competitive nature of fridays fight is a result of Algieri facing better quality fighters than khan has and Khan being hyped.

its amazing algieri made it this far, thats a testament to his natural talent

he now has a proper professional in his corner, one who will teach him how to throw combos, how to properly throw a punch and how to jab etc...

a guy of chris algieri size and build will cause a lot of problems for boxers who arent as fast as pac or khan

they need to build him up slowly, he has been in some tough fights back to back

give him some confidence building fights for a year or 2..and let him learn the fundamentals

i'm a fan now, and all that let him out of the cage stuff needs to stop, the kid has talent

i cud see him causing problems for the likes of broner, garcia, and he cud beat a lot of these gatekeepers as well.
