I don't think he over trained.
I though he had good speed and power and despite people's over reaction his chin was fine.
What he didn't do is have a good game plan. He said so in the post fight interview. He didn't expect Algieri to come looking for him and be the bully in the ring. He thought Algieri would try to box him. When that didn't happen, he had no plan B. He was lost. This is bad preparation by him and Hunter. They should have had a plan b and C.
By the way credit Algieri for showing heart, determination and an excellent game plan. He shut me up. I thought it would be a whitewash.Comment

These are the same things that were being said after the Diaz fight. 'Khan just went life and death with Diaz and he thinks he can beat Floyd wtf?'ok and would you be happy for him to fight the Floyd in his very next fight when there are obviously big problems that need attention , don't forget these problems arose fighting Chris Algieri's simply forward movement .Khan most definitely needs a good win, a confidence builder before even considering such a huge task as he at this time simply can not explain what went wrong ....surely you can see this ?
Then he looks great against Collazo and Devon and a lot of people believe he is competitive or can beat Mayweather. Now after the Algieri fight it's back to square one with people saying he has no chance.
Yes i would be happy for him to fight Floyd next, Ramadan would limit him to a 7 week camp which isn't ideal but hey it's quality over quantity, judging by his comments in this thread maybe it's a blessing in disguise for him to have a shorter camp.Comment

It could be true, maybe he did overtrain, he started training like the same time Mayweather started training, possibly before that even.
Not entirely the reason why he didn't look great though. It's just Khan for you. Perhaps he should listen to his corner.Comment
