Sounds like an excuse to me but when it comes to Khan we shouldn't expect anything less when he looks less than stellar.

Not saying it isn't but i don't see the problem with him saying why he thinks he was below par.

Its a sad day when proven fair training honest fighters like Khan are berated for their performances in comparison to prove steroid cheats like Kell Brook

Khan is a very honest man and is just speaking honestly, no fighter can be 100% for every fight and if a fighter struggles and doesn't look as sharp as he usually looks then there will be a valid reason, in this case Khan simply admitted he struggled.

Again you have to admire Khan, as he has admitted he wasn't at his best and is unhappy with his performance, he knows he has to improve and Khan is being attacked for being honest? this is a sad day for boxing that when a fighter speaks honestly because he wants to improve, he is attacked by fans? Pathetic.

Khan didn't look good enough in this fight to make a Floyd fight compelling to most fans but I think he showed enough vulnerability that he could be Manny's return fight.

Fighters make excuses all the time when they win but struggle.... for example Brook blaming his conditioning when this happened against Carson Jones

Only a problem when Khan does it doe.

ok and would you be happy for him to fight the Floyd in his very next fight when there are obviously big problems that need attention , don't forget these problems arose fighting Chris Algieri's simply forward movement .Khan most definitely needs a good win, a confidence builder before even considering such a huge task as he at this time simply can not explain what went wrong ....surely you can see this ?

That's it then: Virgil Hunters fault. Just like with Freddie Roach not being able to defend himself, now it's Virgil Hunters fault. Khan is an accident waiting to happen..

After seeing algeri in beast mode on Saturday he beats the brakes off malignaggi. Which is funny how much he praises Khan and hates Pacquiao.

Needs a quick cycle to get some gains back...

Probably gained a bunch of weight like he usually does.#

He doesn't have the dedication and work ethic of an elite fighter.
