Cotto won 3 rounds on first viewing. I only gave him 2 with one swing round upon second viewing. Cotto simply doesn't have the tools.

I'd be down for a Maidana trilogy @ 165lb catch weight. Floyd doesn't have to diet, and Marcos only has to lose 35lbs.

I felt Cotto did great in making it competitive but only won 3 rounds. In all honestly I'd rather see him KO Khan just so I don't have to read headlines for the next few years that Khan believes his performance is proof that he'd have beaten Mayweather.

Still lost 9-3. The move to Roach may help his chances some, but I don't see how he performs four rounds better. Would be a good fight, though.

wouldn't mind seeing a 154 Canelo rematch either; still don't think he'd win, but he's likely going to put on a better performance

3 rounds is too generous. He won exactly 2 rounds. Round 6 and Round 8. Could not find another single round to give to Cotto.

So predictable. The Cotto fight was a clear win for Floyd. I was surprised he didn't run that much in that fight.

Floyd should just retire. He beat Pacquiao on defense alone, with one of the least offensive fights of his career. He is becoming the BHop of boxing winning fights by playing the numbers game. Pac will at least be exciting and give it a go until he gets ktfo. Floyd please fight a no hoper and retire. I was a big fan of Cotto but losing respect the way he's baby sitting that belt, they could fight again but who gives a **** at this point.

What is sad is we still haven't seen Khan vs the top WW's like Thurman, Brook, Pacquiao, Maidana rematch, Bradley, Porter, Guerrero but then he wants to fight Mayweather with his wins over guys who weren't ranked in the top 10 in any weight class like Julio Diaz, Luis Collazo, Carlos Molina and Chris Algieri. Alexander was exactly #10 WW, that's about it. It sucks because I think those would be good fights, Khan and his people are just scared of the KO. We saw Algieri stun him several times and he only has 8 KO's so it's understandable why they are babying him.

                    Competitive, nope.

Floyd arguably swept all 12 rounds. And you want give him a rematch? lol for what?
Only a crack baby could make that argument with a straight face.

Cotto gased out after laying it on think on floyd in rounds 7-8. After that floyd took over. He didn't outclass cotto just out worked him. Cotto couldn't keep up. Rounds 1-6 was back and fourth with both having good moments.

I said it many times before and I'll say it again. Cotto lost. He lost to the better conditioned fighter.

Pac, miadana Canelo etc lost to the better fighter. There's a difference. Cotto belonged the others were embarrassed.
Mayweather himself said Cotto was his toughest fight.
The only fighter with a chance to beat floyd is the current better trained and better conditioned Cotto. Everyone was not even a prayer to win.

if anyone deserves a shot at the lineal MW title is GGG, then floyd can fight the winner of cotto-ggg, how about that???? the same goes for canelo by the way..
neither canelo or floyd deserve a shot at the MW title over GGG, now if no title is on the line then any fight is good...
