Egis Klimas, manager of Evgeny Gradovich, is very upset with end result of Saturday's mandatory IBF featherweight title defense against Lee Selby at The O2 in London.
The fight was stopped in the eight round, and went to the scorecards, when the ringside doctor became concerned with a cut that Gradovich suffered from a clash of heads.
Because the injury was caused by an accidental foul, the fight was sent to the scorecards, and Selby was awarded the victory and the IBF featherweight crown with unanimous scores of 79-73, 80-72, 79-73.
