Canelo has 3 CW at 155 (one pound over the limit in nont-title fights). cotta has had at least 3 catch weights: Margarito 2, Martinez and coming up against Geale and those 3 fights involved a title (which makes it even worse). Garcia had two catch weights, one against Salka making him to jump two divisions (since he was fighting at 135 Lbs.) and he had one more against Peterson. Good thing is none of those fights were sanctioned for titles but the catch weight was for more than 2 pounds (double of Canelo's one pound request). Good rican warrior stuff!!

It's funny how people bring this up. Coming up guys fight at catch weights all the time. Errol spence prob has more catchweights than canelo too. But when you're at this level pick a division

you also have up and comers like floyd who defended his jmw title at 152 and 147 respectively..
by the way errol spence is older than canelo and still wont step up...
