why even if they fight at 155 its for the middleweight belt but maybe for the fact that canelo would be forced to fight ggg

alvarez has not been coddled to the degree that most of you claim.

he's certainly not a *****. this "all or nothing" rhetoric in bscene needs to stop.

he's a middleweight fighting junior middleweights, and should be criticized for that. that doesn't make him a "pusy."
He has not been coddled as bad as they woukd make it seem, this is true. However, Canelo did control his career and was wreck less in fighting mayweather contrary to his promoters wishes. He paid the consequences due to his big head. Now I think Canelo is listening to Oscar. Oscar is not going to put him in extreme danger right now(ggg). They want the high dollar lower risk option in cotto. I happen to believe Cotto is a greater risk to Canelo than ggg is. Canelo can withstand gggs power. He's young and strong. The question is how long can be withstand it. That remains to be seen.

Cotto if he chooses out boxes Canelo. If cotto trades with Canelo I believe he ultimately looses. I suspect cotto boxes Canelo thus ultimately winning.

Look: what if Golovkin agrees to fight Canelo at 155 or even 154.5?
Do you think that Canelo would take the fight? He should, according to the statement in the OP... Right?

Agree. In his last fight both Canelo and Kirkland were 154.5 Lbs. at official weighting. That is only 227 grams above the limit (which suggests it wouldn't take much to get rid of the "extra" weight). I believe Canelo is sending a message stating that unless he fights for a title he would not worry to comply with any official weight (even if it were only 50-100 grams above the limit). Is Canelo wanting to show some side A power?

This is why Canelo will never be a true great. He doesn't want to go the extra mile and lose that extra pound. Unfair to boxers that have to make 154. Boxing caters to too many divas because of the money they bring sometimes.

Cotto fans acting like it's Canelo's fault Trout made him irrelevant and Canelo fought (and beat the shˇtt out of) the winner of Trout Cotto.

                      LOL, insecure mucho?
