i respect that floyd and floyd sr won the largest fight in boxing history and will/should be awarded fighter and trainer of the year if they win in september..
but this john david jackson guy is making waves..if algieri bust right back into camp i can see him have enough legs and precision to be boxer in this bout at times, and also the guy who can close distance on the come forward guy and attack the body..
wont win the fight but u have to be more that a spurt fighter like kell is to stop algieri..algieri can learn to give u look after look..algieri would beat porter imoComment

I bet Algieri would make Brook work, too. Not as much as Khan had to, but it wouldn't be a cakewalk.Comment

1. Patience to exploit his mistakes
2. Distance
3. Pawing jab
4. Chin
5. Basic/predictable footwork
Algieri looks like a relatively solid boxer when he's fighting someone who is reckless. Provodnikov was a brawler throwing wild bombs which he was able to evade and potshot, Khan was throwing his usual arm flurries with little accuracy (or power) which allowed Algieri to find some holes and land shots.
Brook is the opposite of reckless, he is very precise and controls distance very well, a great jab being a key reason and that would control that fight. He is also very accurate, has very good power, he's physically strong and he'd be fighting a guy with no power...Algieri has no advantages in that fight.Comment
