Selby may have "won" tonight, but if he tries to unify the titles against Russell Jr., Walters or Lomachenko I think we will see him lose that title really fast in my opinion.

Na bro, im from the island and i wish he was any good but Velez is straight up garbage. Ive seen velez fights since he as 3-0 in small venues here in PR. He almost got knocked out against jesse (record 1-4) who was part time bartender (no joke).

Pedraza and javier cintron are bums.

I know i should support them cause they are form my island but im objective. (unlike mexicans and african americans in this forum)

The only prospect PR have is Verdejo. If he losses we are gonna be at least 10 years without a star.

I was with you until you said Pedraza is a bum - that dude has been in there tough and doesn't get enough recognition. I think he's a diamond in the rough

Funny how you left PRs out. They're just as bad, if not worse at times.

Well done Selby. He fought an excellent fight last night.
He has showed before he is a talented and skilled fighter, but did it on a higher stage here. Good for him.

He's fighting in a talented and tough division. He's not ready for the top 3 guys IMO, but i'd take him to beat Mares and Santa Cruz.
