I heard a lot of people last night say floyd would have been beat/knocked out by Algieri (even floyd fans which surprised me tbh).

Most people believe that his SIZE would be the difference, if Cotto was able to wear floyd out with his size, that Algieri can do it better, specially since Algieri is taller and has an IQ guided offensive style. He also fights tall and can throw combinations from mid range with his reach.

Reach, height, speed, movement, boxing... It's all there for Algieri. Do you agree???

LarryXXX said in the radio show last night that even he thought that Algieri's advantage over floyd which is size would trouble floyd, possibly beat him. I was surprised but I can see where he is coming from. And some of my friends who were watching the fight live with me think Algieri would've dropped floyd with the overhand right hooks.

Algieri's IQ guided offense could beat floyd IMO now that I think about it. Which makes Pac win over Algieri that much more impressive.

Might be a joke but you are not too far off. Algieri has the body structure of Hearns, physically speaking (height/reach). He fights like a tall fighter too, he takes advantage of these attributes.

Floyd has never faced a lenghty offensive fighter with intelligence.

The more i think about it, the more I'm convinced Algieri outboxes floyd and possibly drops him due to his size.

Most people think he beat Khan or at least acknowledge it was a close fight. Styles make fights and like most I believe Algieri stands a better chance stylistically speaking than Khan. I would rather see Algieri get the shot.
