It's the only thing I see that's different about Khan.

Virgil Hunter has not improved him as a fighter. He's the same fighter he's always been, except he holds a lot more.

exactly all this hunter is a great trainer is just straight up BS.

Khan aint learned nothing but to not be ashamed to hold, clinch, headlock etc in a fight where as before he had too much pride for that, now he will do it anytime a jab gets to close to him.

This is professional boxing people, tying ur opponent up and controling their heads (head control) is an essential part of the game, all great fighter used clinching and head control, but of course you have to make sure it's not excessive, the foul is called excessive holding, not just holding. Ali clinched all his opponents and more than Khan did against Algieri, Ali clinched Leon Spinks in one round more than Khan clinched Algieri in 6 rounds.

Bhop clinches much more than Khan, along with Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Andre Ward and the list goes on and on, they shouldn't change the rules cuz u don't like a certain fighter.

No Khan doesn't deserve a shot at Mayweather, a win against a 140 pounder who has 8 KOs in 20 wins mostly against tomato cans, a win against a guy who's coming of the most humiliatiing loss of his career doesn't mean a damn thing for Khan, he's still the fighter that got iced 2-3 years ago and is still trying to come back from it.

Khan has always hugged and held.

He has also always pushed opponents away.

As he has no inside game whatsoever, he uses this to neutralize an inside fighter and protect the pu55y chin.

It's up to the referee to control this, but Khan is one of the biggest culprits in the lighter weight classes.
