And why Khan's power got upgraded? Is this some kind of a joke? He couldn't hurt Algieri throughout the fight he was walked down.
    lol@ rocked

at no point was Khan rocked

Chris landed a nice shot in round 1, which made Khan respond nervously, but thats about it

and even so Khan still stood in the pocket, and took it well, so it cudnt have been that hard

everytime Khan gets hits flush people get all over-dramatic

    he was fine

Algieri's power got downgraded because he was hitting Khan with shots that if it was a fighter with power, khans on his ass. If Algieri had power he wins with the way he was fighting last night.

Khan power got downgraded from a B+ to a B he was wacking Algieri and did nothing but also too Algieri has a solid Jaw.

I guess when you're a Khan nuthugger you can never see when he was very clearly hurt. Algieri landed a few punches that snapped his head pretty violently, and one or two moments that stiffened his legs momentarily.

it's so funny to see a guy like algieri with no power kind of stun khan, yeah he was stunned not rocked or hurt, imagine what a real welterweight would have done to khan if he landed flush like that, imagine Thurman doing that, khan looked so avg against an avg or below avg opponent last night, khan is nothing special,he's a popular fighter but not a great one, unfortunately if he gets the fight with Floyd it will be only because he's popular not because he's any good

Cliff Rold is lying to no one but himself. Even brought up the point of Khan not being on the same level as the actual top welters Khan has the weakest case of all potential Floyd opponents bcuz a win over Khan doesnt enhance Floyd legacy. Look at what bouts with Garcia and Cotto do for Floyd: gets that 5th lineal at either weight 140&160 and he wud be lineal in 3 weights simultaneously with either fight, A fight with Cotto at MW would be floyds 6th division also. Even Brook, floyd would have all the belts at welter. Thurman is the mandatory for WBA. Even if Con is a "front runner" he has the weakest case out of the bunch. I honestly dont think Thurman has case but even then his chances would be better than Khans. Khan had 2 years to put himself in position, turned down 2 title shots within that period!! And his opposition did nothing to improve his chances.

I agree, Khan has the weakest case, however, style-wise, he has a better chance than Thurman. Thurman was countered multiple times by Guerrero, Floyd will tee-off him 'til kingdom come. I think Floyd will choose Kell Brook to unify all belts at Welter then "retire" at 49-0, unretire and rematches Pac for 50-0. That's the easiest fight with the biggest reward, just what Floyd likes.

That was my thinking. He hit Khan with his Sunday punches, flush, and Khan was briefly dazed at best. We know Khan's chin isn't that good so his power must be really off.
