Khan needs to give it a rest now.

I have backed him up quite a bit over the years but it's clear what his ceiling is.

No power at welterweight, he has no ability to fight with confidence, he's skittish, doesn't sit on his punches, physically he's not strong enough.

At this point it would be an achievement to become a belt holder at 147, being a two weight title holder and Olympic medalist would be him maximizing his talent. He doesn't have the ability to go beyond that.

If I was him I would avoid Kell Brook because that's a fight he'd get ko'd in without question brook is the better fighter.

This isn't hate on Amir, but talk of Floyd is ridiculous at this stage.

I agree. If you can't look convincing against Algieri who was absolutely smashed to bits by the guy Mayweather just beat with ease - how are you going to do with Brook let alone Mayweather himsef?

Khan needs to stop blowing his own trumpet for a bit. If he gets Mayweather, I will happily cheer him on but I just don't think he can do it.

That couldn't have gone any better. I called it before the fight. He'll win but he won't look good.

Absolutely laughable calling out Mayweather afterwards. The crowd shat on that

Yeah agreed. He fights like an amateur and that chin, literally anyone he fights can potentially knock him silly. So we get a skittish amateurish fighter who throws occasionally fast pitty pat combos then clinches as much as possible. His plan tonight really backfired. He is worse off now for a Mayweather fight than he was before.

Lol one performance that didnt live up to expectations from a fighter and guys already bash him. He didnt do nearly as bad as Danny Garcia did against peterson for example and algerie wasnt robbed like peterson was. Khan won the fight. Any fighter can have an average performance

Khan is still a good fighter and beats alot of guys in the division

Algieri just asked the medie in the post presser: "Was that a statement for Khan?"

And it just wasn't. What was a cherrypick ended up being a tough fight.

But I think Algieri should get some credit too. He improved a lot.

There is no one left for Mayweather to fight. Khan is a joke opponent. So is everyone else 147 and under. Who is there left? Cotto? GGG is not a realistic option, I think Cotto is the only one worth to fight. Maybe Mayweater retires without another fight.
